Essay writing skills workshop

In response to student requests, LSBF is pleased to offer the first in a series of workshops on best practice in essay writing.

An essay can be a powerful advocacy device, and the ability to write concisely and cogently is essential in any business and finance career path.

The first workshop will be will be conducted by LSBF’s Head of Reseach, Dr. Steve Priddy on Monday 26th of March in room 102 at 9 Holborn from 5-7pm.

This will be a hands on event where you will all be encouraged to participate. PC and mobile are not required. Pen, paper and your brain are!

Applicants will be treated on a first come first served basis and there will be an upper limit of 20 places.

The Essay writing workshops have been organized by LSBF SA President, Alawol Ahamed, with the help of Dr. Priddy, Head of Research at LSBF.

Managing stress workshop: From Stress to Success

Are you feeling stressed?

The Counselling Service is presenting a workshop on managing exam stress.

If you feel nervous or anxious before your exams, assignments or with your life as a student, the LSBF Counselling Service is presenting a workshop on managing your stress. This workshop offers students a chance to manage their anxiety and teach them how to cope with the nervous tension that comes upon many students during certain periods of their student life.

Come and meet the Student Executive Committee you have elected!

The SEC would like to give you the chance to come meet them, learn more about our activities and ask your questions during the drop in sessions at our LSBF London Campuses.

At our recent Student Association elections YOU voted for your new Student Executive Committee who has been representing you since October.

The SA has organized three MEET & GREET sessions at our three LSBF London Campuses to give you the chance to come by and learn more about the activities and ask them your questions.

They will be at the campuses on the following dates:

The SA represents the students of LSBF, organizes services and activities to help support you during your time at LSBF. The SA also aims to provide a channel for students to be able to give feedback to LSBF management.

The Potential of Islamic Finance

LSBF will be hosting the Seminar dedicated to Islamic Finance: “Global Calls for Economic Justice: The potential of Islamic Finance”.

The event will be held next Wednesday 14th of March from 10:00-13:00 at the 9 Holborn Campus.
